I just finished reading the straits times today and michael phelps is all over the sports section. He has, broken the olympic record with ,the most gold medals of 14.

I've never been interested in swimming before but his presence made me sit in front of the tv everyday and watch. His swims are truly interesting. If you have never even watched one of it, i'd just have to say, that's too bad.He's become a legend now.Everybody knew what he was trying to achieve:8 golds for 8 events. Nobody had even dreamed that he could actually accomplish it.

For the benefit of those who does not know, he does not only swim 8 events, he swam everything.From heats to semi-finals to finals. He swam a total of 17. And he could still win the medals. He created history in the "WaterCube" in Beijing. Nobody can do it better than he can. He'd be the only one to break his own record for the next London Summer Olympic Games 2012.
